Support & Breakdowns

CSL’s automation division offers our clients a reliable support service for breakdowns of automation systems in a timely fashion. This service includes the following:

  • Remote fault diagnostics and repair.
  • Telephone support.
  • Emergency breakdown cover.
  • Replacement of failed hardware.
  • Technical and troubleshooting advice.
  • Performing thermal image surveys on the control panels & MCCs.
  • Electrical periodic inspections (Safe Electric registered).

CSL’s automation department also provide preventative maintenance services for PLCs, telemetry systems and SCADA systems. CSL’s preventative maintenance service reduces the risk of breakdowns and down time. CSL makes regular back-ups of the PLC program and the SCADA data. If a fault occurs, there is a risk that the PLC program or the SCADA data could be lost, costing thousands of euros in downtime and lost production time while the system is been reprogrammed. Backing-up these systems regularly will allow for aquick repair in the event of a major fault. CSL will ensure that the SCADA systems has the latest software updates and patches. These updates resolve security issues, improve the stability of the software and can also include new or enhanced features for better user experience. Consumable items such as PLC’s backup batteries and UPS batteries will be replaced as part of the preventative service.
